The weeds are 5ft or taller in many places at the gardens. The rain the last few days has made it easier to pull them and hopefully with a few bodies we can clean up many or all of them. I spent 4 hours today cleaning weeds from a few of the many areas we manage. The corner bed is clear of visible weeds but, we do have several thistles that need to be sprayed. (these weeds have underground runners and when one is pulled 3 come back) Two trips with the car to the compost heap to clear this bed. I stayed in the nursery garden after that trying to get a handle on some of the over abundance of weeds here. Clean up could take weeks if it were to be done single handedly.
