( Lillium white)

Meeting #3. Today we talked about soil in Brampton. We saw jars with different types
of soils and clays. We talked about how the Wisconsin Glacier affected our area (soil) and how top soil layers help the plants grow without adding all the extra bits. We talked about composting and what we can do as homeowners. Using old skids to create your own composter is a cheap and easy way. The city is now composting organics (see list at peelregion.ca/waste) And you can purchase compost from the city by the truckload for a nominal fee. We have had a few more people sign up and willing to commit to the whole time.
