Weed pulling seemed like a good idea after yesterdays rain. I pulled weeds from 7 beds in the first block. (8:00 to 10:30) Moeen came by and started further down the row. Alan arrived at 10am potted dahlias and did other things.(retrieving dogs from other side of the fence for starters). Specialty seed potatoes have been purchased and we should begin planting when the soil temperature reaches about 10 Celsius - a couple of weeks maybe. The standard varieties, ‘Yukon Gold’, ‘Pontiac’ etc.,will be purchased closer to planting time.
