Class #7
Final in class session. Those who attend today will discover the grounds, weather permitting, that we as a Teaching Garden tend to over the course of the growing season. The Fairgrounds is a vast area, but, the gardens around the buildings, in front of the main building, in front of the sign, and on the corner of the property are not all that we maintain. The nursery garden where we grow the vegetables, where we grow on bulbs and perennials for planting out into the other gardens and where we plant our precious donations is also an area for teaching techniques and good garden practices. Trimming tree branches, pruning shrubs, deadheading and weeding, lawn care are also taught in this area.
