Had no plans to go up today, but, as circumstance would have it I received a parcel of peony roots in the mail. These are being planted to grow on for future CPS root sales. For our/my efforts when they are dug up for the sale PTG will be allowed to keep a piece of the root for our collection. Its a great way to increase our collection. Spent 2 hours cleaning weeds and prepping bed for roots.

Alan tells me I just missed Joe. He was up this morning hacking away at the thistles around the shed and tidying up a bit and left around 10:30.

The carnie people have invaded the main fairground lot, already prepping for the Fall Fair this Thursday.
