Alan and I were up around 9:30am weeding and spreading mulch in the north and south shrub borders as well as the north front building garden. Renato joined us, getting a lesson in the proper way to clear weeds, after 10am and stayed until 1pm. We left at 12:30.

Weeding:
Firmly plant your bottom on stool provided. Placing fork in right hand, if right handed, place fork perpendicular to weed and plunge into soil, tilt fork away from weed. Weed should lift easily root and all. Repeat steps until weeds are clear.
