Many students were late today. An accident on Heartlake prevented them from arriving on time. The weather was so unpredictable that along the entire stretch of road between Sandalwood and Old School Road there was snow covered sections and blowing snow. This made it slow going and those who didn't adjust there speeds could end up just about anywhere.
Our class today covered the essential kit and several things Alan had missed in the last class. We discussed soil and its makeup. How it formed in Brampton and what it left behind. He added an experiment for soil testing. As soon as the ground thaws you can bet I'll be trying it.
We had a break at exactly the designated hour set out in the course outline. Yes this meant Alan was on time. (So far!!!!) His cookies, ginger snaps, garlic sables and oatmeal apple cookies were a big hit as always.
