Arrived late, just in time to see Linda climbing over the gate to get into the nursery. Dug garlic ‘Saltspring Select’, it might have been a week or two premature but we needed the bed for dahlias. Weeded and prepped the bed (C10), and planted dahlias 4 x ‘Honka Red, 14 x ‘Honka Yellow’, 2 x ‘Fire on Ice’, 4 x ‘Christine’ 1 x ‘Arabian Night’, 20 x Unknown, plus 2 x Cana ‘Rosamund Coles’. Watered new plantings and remaining potted tubers and locked up 12:30. Rainfall 24 mm at Pearson since Saturday.
