Update from Alan

Good storms last night and rain until 07:00. Got to the nursery a bit before 08:30 and found that ground was sufficiently wet that the weeds in block E (onions) could be pulled by hand. Linda arrived and then John showed up close to 09:00, and the morning was spent clearing three beds. Jessica came and went to service the bee hives then, about 12:30, helped finish off the last bit of weeding. Total time to clear three beds 14 hours! The enraging thing is that, had people who attended the winter classes shown up two months ago and spent a couple of hours mulching the newly planted onions, none of this work would have been necessary. Closed up at 13:30.
