Arrived at 11:00. Cut out damaged section of main hose and reconnected. Watered all potted tubers. Noticed that honey bees are coming to the dogs’ water bucket to take moisture. Dug all remaining garlic ‘Tal’. Despite the heat and no rain for a month, there was still some detectable dampness under the copious straw mulch. 31 degrees but overcast and slightly less humid than yesterday.
